Company number: RCS Bayonne 525 338 083 (EUID FR6401.525338083)
VAT number: FR68525338083

Customer service: contact@wellputt.com
Important: orders are shipped from France. UK VAT, customs duties and import fees are not included in our prices and are payable by you to the carrier on delivery (see Articles 4 and 6).
ARTICLE 1: AREA OF APPLICATION
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on the Wellputt United Kingdom store (wellputt.com/gb) and are those in force on the date the order is placed. They are governed by the law set out in Article 11. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
ARTICLE 2: AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS
Our products are offered subject to available stock or, if not immediately available, within the delivery periods agreed with our suppliers. While our standard products are generally available, some products may temporarily become unavailable.
If one or more products become unavailable after an order is placed, we will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible, and any amount paid for a product we cannot supply will be refunded in full. If the delivery delay for any item is expected to exceed 10 days, the order may be split into separate shipments; in this case, you will only be charged for a single delivery. If you require delivery to several addresses, a separate order must be placed for each address, and the delivery charges of each order will apply.
ARTICLE 3: ORDERS
All orders require prior identification of the customer. Orders are placed online on wellputt.com/gb.
Orders placed online receive an automatic confirmation e-mail, provided a correct e-mail address was given. The information you provide when ordering is binding. If the delivery address you provide is incorrect or incomplete, the seller cannot be held responsible for the resulting delivery failure, delay or extra routing fees.
ARTICLE 4: PRICE & CUSTOMS DUTIES
All prices on the UK store are displayed in British pounds (GBP £). Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
Prices do not include UK VAT, customs duties or import fees. Orders are dispatched from our fulfilment centre in France. Because the United Kingdom is outside the European Union, you are responsible for paying the applicable UK VAT, customs clearance fees and any administrative fees charged by the carrier. These charges are billed to you directly by our shipping partner (for example FedEx) before or at the time of delivery, and are not included in the total shown at checkout. Wellputt France SAS has no control over these government charges.
ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT
The accepted payment methods are those shown at checkout. Currently, payment is made by credit or debit card through the secure Stripe payment platform. Card payments are encrypted and processed by Stripe.
Orders are processed once payment of the full amount has been authorised. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel an order in the event of an ongoing payment dispute with the customer or a suspicion of fraud.
ARTICLE 6: DELIVERY & CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
Shipments to the United Kingdom are dispatched from France. Standard delivery generally takes 4 to 9 business days, provided customs clearance is completed promptly.
Wellputt France SAS remains responsible for the parcel and for any risk of loss or damage until the goods are physically delivered to you or to a person you have designated.
If the import taxes and duties required by the carrier are not paid, the parcel cannot be delivered. If a parcel is returned to our warehouse in France because these charges were refused, the return shipping costs, customs charges and carrier administrative fees actually incurred by Wellputt France SAS will be deducted from your refund.
ARTICLE 7: RIGHT TO CANCEL, RETURNS AND FAULTY GOODS
7.1 Your legal right to cancel (14 days)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you (or a person you have designated, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from the day you receive the last parcel. You may also cancel before the goods are delivered.
To cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example an e-mail to contact@wellputt.com stating your order number. You may use the model cancellation form in the Annex below, but you do not have to. You meet the deadline if you send your cancellation before the 14-day period has expired.
7.2 Our extended 30-day return period for standard products
Going beyond the legal minimum, for standard (non-personalised) products we accept returns requested up to 30 days after the date of your order, for any reason. Returns requested after the 14-day cancellation period, up to 30 days after your order, follow the same process as a legal cancellation (Articles 7.3 to 7.5), with these differences: the product must be returned new, unused and in its original packaging (the Wellputt product box and the shipping box), and without the original packaging, or if its condition is not validated by our logistics partner, reconditioning fees are deducted from the refund; the original delivery costs are not refunded; and the price of the products is refunded within 30 business days at the most after we receive and inspect them. This extended period does not reduce your legal right to cancel: the 14-day cancellation period, which runs from delivery (Article 7.1), applies in full even if it ends later than 30 days after your order.
7.3 Sending the goods back
You must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you informed us of your cancellation, to the following address:
WELLPUTT / 2L Logistic – Return Services
12 rue Alegera, Centre Européen de Fret
64990 Mouguerre, France
Please include your order number in the parcel. For a cancellation or a change-of-mind return, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods: Wellputt France SAS does not provide prepaid return labels for these returns from the United Kingdom. Because the goods travel from the United Kingdom to France, you are responsible for organising the return shipment, including the export and customs formalities (please declare the parcel as returned goods). Any customs charges levied on the return are part of the return costs; if we have to pay them to receive the parcel, the amount actually paid will be deducted from your refund.
7.4 Refunds
If you cancel within the legal 14-day period, we will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs of your order (if you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard delivery, the difference is not refunded). The refund is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back or, if earlier, the day you provide proof that you have sent them back. If we have not yet sent the goods, the refund is made within 14 days of the day you informed us of the cancellation. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original order, at no cost to you.
7.5 Condition of returned goods
You may handle the goods as you would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose; in that case, we may reduce your refund by the amount of that loss in value. Please pack the goods carefully so that they are not damaged in transit; using the original packaging, where you still have it, is the best way to protect them.
7.6 Products excluded from cancellation and change-of-mind returns
Products made to your specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from the right to cancel and from change-of-mind returns. These are in particular:
- the personalised Wellstroke;
- the Ghost Hole Custom and the Ghost Hole 3S Custom;
- custom mats and custom putting surfaces;
- BigTilt platforms made to measure;
- any product bearing your logo, text or chosen colours.
This exclusion does not affect your rights if one of these products is faulty or not as described (Article 7.7).
7.7 Faulty goods and goods not as described
As a consumer, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose:
- within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the goods and obtain a full refund (short-term right to reject);
- after that, you can ask for a repair or a replacement; if this is impossible, fails or causes you significant inconvenience, you can obtain a price reduction or reject the goods for a refund;
- a fault that appears within six months of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless we prove otherwise;
- you can bring a claim up to six years after delivery (five years in Scotland).
There is no short deadline for telling us about a fault: please contact contact@wellputt.com as soon as you notice it, with your order number. Photos or videos of the problem help us handle your request faster, but they are not a condition of your rights. We bear the costs of returning faulty goods: please contact us before sending anything back and we will tell you how to return the product at our expense. Faulty goods are returned to the address given in Article 7.3.
ARTICLE 8: PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY
Wellputt France SAS processes your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Details of the data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with and how long we keep it are set out in our privacy policy.
You can exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection and others) at any time by e-mail to contact@wellputt.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection authority (ico.org.uk).
ARTICLE 9: LIMIT OF LIABILITY
Products are illustrated and described as accurately as possible. Minor differences, for example in colour due to screen settings, may occur.
The seller cannot be held liable for a failure to perform the contract caused by events outside its reasonable control (force majeure), such as floods, fires, strikes, lockdowns or major logistical incidents, or by disruptions inherent to the use of the internet, such as service outages. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible and, if the order cannot be fulfilled, refund any amount paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, nor does it affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
ARTICLE 10: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All visual, textual, branding and audio elements displayed on the website, together with its underlying technology, are the exclusive property of the company or its partners. Any reproduction, adaptation or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited and may give rise to civil and criminal liability.
ARTICLE 11: APPLICABLE LAW & JURISDICTION
These general terms and conditions of sale and all orders placed on the UK store are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your place of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at contact@wellputt.com so that we can try to find an amicable solution. If no amicable solution is reached, the dispute may be brought before the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, before the courts of your place of residence.
If any clause of these terms is held invalid by a court, the other clauses remain in full force.
ARTICLE 12: LIFETIME WARRANTY & PRODUCT CARE
A lifetime commercial warranty is provided on our premium putting mats, guaranteeing that the product remains free from manufacturing defects under normal and intended residential use. To keep this lifetime warranty valid, the customer must follow the storage and care conditions below:
- The mat must always be kept indoors, in a dry, clean and climate-controlled room. It must never be permanently exposed to outdoor elements.
- Do not expose the mat to continuous, direct sunlight. Prolonged UV exposure degrades the fibres and the backing and fades the printed tracking lines.
- The mat handles minor accidental liquid spills if blotted dry immediately. However, it must never be flooded, soaked, left in damp environments or used in the rain.
- When putting the mat away, it must be cleaned, properly rolled (never folded, creased or crushed) and stored in its original storage box or protective sleeve.
- The mat should only be cleaned with a gentle brush or a low-suction vacuum cleaner. The use of steam cleaners, pressure washers or harsh chemical detergents immediately voids this warranty.
This warranty excludes natural wear and tear (such as normal fibre flattening or minor colour changes after years of use), commercial or intensive use, damage caused by pets, and mould arising from humid indoor storage.
To make a warranty claim, contact contact@wellputt.com with your order number. This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Article 7.7).
