Director of Publication: Boris PANSART
ARTICLE 1: AREA OF APPLICATION
The present general conditions of sale apply to all orders received by eu.wellputt.com and are valid at the time an order is placed. Any matter or condition not explicitly covered herein will be governed by the legislation and standard distant selling practices applicable to companies registered in France.
ARTICLE 2: AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS
Our products are offered subject to available stocks or, if not immediately available, within the delivery periods agreed upon by our suppliers. While our standard offers are generally available, certain products may temporarily become unavailable. The unavailability of one or more products does not incur the financial liability of the seller.
If one or more products become unavailable after an order is placed, the customer will be notified as soon as possible via email. If a delivery delay for any item is expected to exceed 10 days, the order may be split into separate shipments. In this event, the customer will only be charged for a single delivery. If the customer requires delivery to multiple addresses, a separate order must be placed for each destination, and separate delivery charges will apply.
ARTICLE 3: ORDERS
All orders require prior identification of the customer. Orders can be placed online.
Orders placed online will receive an automated confirmation email, provided a correct email address was submitted. Information provided by the buyer at the time of purchase constitutes a binding commitment. In the event of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the purchaser, the seller accepts no liability for delivery failures, delays, or extra routing fees.
Registered Office: Wellputt France SAS, 23 chemin de Cazenave - 64100 Bayonne, France.
ARTICLE 4: PRICE & CUSTOMS DUTIES
All prices on the UK website are displayed in British Pounds (GBP £) and are shown exclusive of UK taxes, customs duties, and import fees.
Orders are dispatched from our fulfillment center in France. Because the United Kingdom is outside the European Union, the customer is solely responsible for paying all applicable UK VAT, customs clearance fees, and any administrative carrier fees upon delivery. These charges will be billed directly to the customer by our shipping partner (e.g., FedEx) prior to or at the time of delivery. Wellputt France SAS has no control over these government-mandated fees.
ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT
The customer has a choice of payment methods:
Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard): The purchaser must provide their card number, expiry date, and security code. Secure data encryption protocols guarantee total transaction security.
PayPal or Bank Transfer: Any applicable bank processing fees remain at the buyer's expense. Orders will only be processed once the total invoice amount clears. The company reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order in the event of an ongoing customer payment dispute or suspicion of fraud.
ARTICLE 6: DELIVERY & CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
Shipments to the United Kingdom are dispatched from France. Standard delivery is generally fulfilled within 4 to 9 business days, provided that customs clearance is completed promptly.
Wellputt France SAS remains fully responsible for the package and any risk of loss or damage until the goods are physically delivered into the hands of the customer (physical possession).
Any delay or refusal by the customer to pay the required import taxes and duties to the carrier will result in delivery failure. If a package is returned to our warehouse in France because the customer refused to pay the customs fees, all return shipping costs, cross-border customs penalties, and administrative carrier fees incurred by Wellputt France SAS will be strictly deducted from the customer's refund.
ARTICLE 7: RETRACTION, SATISFACTION, AND RETURNS
7.1 Standard Product Returns (UK Market)
If a standard product is not suitable, for whatever reason, the customer has up to 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return and a refund.
All return shipping costs are entirely borne by the customer from Day 1. Wellputt France SAS does not provide prepaid or free return labels under any circumstances for the UK market.
The customer is solely responsible for organizing international transit back to France, including paying any customs declarations, UK/EU border cross duties, or import clearance fees. Wellputt France SAS will reject any return package with unpaid import fees.
Returns for a refund are strictly limited to standard products. Products subject to specific contractual terms, including custom-made products and BigTilt systems, are governed by their respective specific Terms and Conditions, which prevail over these General Terms and Conditions where applicable.
7.2 Return Conditions & Reconditioning Fees
The parcel must be returned by courier only, in its original packaging, in perfect unused condition, and accompanied by the original invoice.
If the product is not returned in its original pristine condition or if our logistics partner does not validate its state upon inspection, reconditioning fees will be deducted from your final refund. Products excessively soiled or damaged by the customer will not be eligible for any refund.
7.3 Defective or Non-Compliant Products
If a product arrives defective or does not comply with specifications due to an error attributable to the company, a replacement or refund will be issued under the following strict conditions:
The customer must provide visual proof (clear photos or videos) demonstrating that the product arrived damaged or defective before shipping it back.
The item must be securely packed in its original packaging.
All authorized returns must be shipped to our European fulfillment hub:
WELLPUTT / 2L Logistic - Return Services > 12 rue Alegera, Centre Européen de Fret, 64990 Mouguerre, France
ARTICLE 8: PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY
All customer personal data is treated with the strictest confidentiality. Information requested during checkout is solely used for order fulfillment and customer service. In accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and applicable data protection legislation, customers retain a total right of access, rectification, opposition, and deletion of their personal data. This right can be exercised at any time by emailing contact@wellputt.com.
ARTICLE 9: LIMIT OF LIABILITY
Products are illustrated and described with the highest possible level of accuracy. However, photographs, texts, and graphics on the website are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a binding part of the sales contract. The company cannot be held liable for discrepancies, minor errors, or supplier-end modifications.
The company cannot be held liable for breaches of contract due to stock shortages, force majeure events (floods, fires, strikes, lockdowns, or logistical accidents), or issues inherent to the use of the internet (data breaches, service outages, or malware attacks).
ARTICLE 10: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All visual, textual, branding, and audio elements displayed on the website, alongside its underlying technology, remain the exclusive intellectual property of the company or its legitimate partners. Any unauthorized reproduction, adaptation, or reuse—in whole or in part—is strictly prohibited and constitutes a copyright infringement punishable by civil and criminal law.
ARTICLE 11: APPLICABLE LAW & JURISDICTION
These general conditions of sale and all transactions completed via the UK website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to prioritize reaching an amicable settlement before pursuing legal court action. If an amicable solution cannot be reached, the courts of the United Kingdom shall have exclusive jurisdiction. If any specific clause is declared void by a court order, all other clauses of these general conditions shall remain fully valid and binding.
ARTICLE 12: LIFETIME WARRANTY & PRODUCT CARE
A Lifetime Warranty is provided on premium putting mats, guaranteeing that the product remains free from manufacturing defects under normal and intended residential use. To maintain the validity of this lifetime warranty, the customer must strictly adhere to the following Storage and Care Conditions. The mat must always be kept indoors in a dry, clean, and climate-controlled room. It must never be permanently exposed to outside elements. Do not expose the mat to continuous, direct sunlight. Prolonged UV exposure degrades the structural integrity of the fibers, damages the backing material, and fades the printed tracking lines. The mat handles minor accidental liquid spills well if blotted dry immediately. However, it must never be flooded, soaked, left in damp environments, or used under rain. When putting away the mat, it must be cleaned, properly rolled (never folded, creased, or crushed), and stored back inside its original storage box or protective sleeve. The mat should only be cleaned using a gentle brush or a low-suction vacuum cleaner. The use of steam cleaners, pressure washers, or harsh chemical detergents will immediately void this warranty.
This warranty excludes natural wear and tear (such as normal fiber flattening or minor color changes over years of friction), commercial/intensive use, pet damage, and mold arising from humid indoor storage.
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, the customer's statutory rights relating to legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects under applicable law.
