ARTICLE 1: AREA OF APPLICATION
The present general conditions of sale apply to all orders received by the Canadian store of wellputt.com and are valid at the time an order is placed. Any matter or condition not explicitly covered herein will be governed by the standard distant selling practices and applicable legislation.
ARTICLE 2: AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS
Our products are offered subject to available stocks or, if not immediately available, within the delivery periods agreed upon by our suppliers. While our standard offers are generally available, certain products may temporarily become unavailable. The unavailability of one or more products does not incur the financial liability of the seller. If one or more products become unavailable after an order is placed, the customer will be notified as soon as possible via email. If a delivery delay for any item is expected to exceed 10 days, the order may be split into separate shipments. In this event, the customer will only be charged for a single delivery. If the customer requires delivery to multiple addresses, a separate order must be placed for each destination, and separate delivery charges will apply.
ARTICLE 3: ORDERS
All orders require prior identification of the customer. Orders can be placed online via the Canadian website. Orders placed online will receive an automated confirmation email, provided a correct email address was submitted. Information provided by the buyer at the time of purchase constitutes a binding commitment. In the event of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the purchaser, the seller accepts no liability for delivery failures, delays, or extra routing fees.
ARTICLE 4: PRICE AND TAXES
All prices displayed on the Canadian store are in Canadian Dollars (CAD $). Prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes. Regional sales taxes (GST, HST, or PST) are calculated and displayed directly during checkout based on the destination province or territory. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. However, products will always be invoiced at the rates in force on the exact date and time the order is validated. All validated transactions remain the exclusive property of the company until full payment of the price has been received.
ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT
The customer has a choice of payment methods: Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard) or PayPal. For credit card payments, the purchaser must provide their card number, expiry date, and security code. Secure data encryption protocols guarantee total transaction security. For PayPal or bank transfers, any applicable processing fees remain at the buyer's expense. Orders will only be processed once the total invoice amount clears. The company reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order in the event of an ongoing customer payment dispute or suspicion of fraud.
ARTICLE 6: DELIVERY AND CUSTOMS
Wellputt ships to all provinces and territories across Canada. Orders shipped within Canada do not incur additional customs duties upon delivery. Wellputt remains fully responsible for the package and any risk of loss or damage until the goods are physically delivered into the hands of the customer. Delivery timeframes indicated are averages and provided as estimates only, varying depending on the destination province and carrier routing.
ARTICLE 7: SATISFACTION, CANCELLATIONS, AND RETURNS
7.1 Standard Product Returns
If a standard product is not suitable, for whatever reason, the customer has up to 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return and a refund. Returns within 30 days of receipt are free of charge for eligible standard orders delivered within Canada. The customer must contact customer service at support@wellputt.golf to receive a prepaid shipping label. Returns for a refund are strictly limited to standard products. Custom or personalized items are strictly excluded from this policy and are non-returnable.
7.2 Return Conditions and Reconditioning Fees
The parcel must be returned by courier only, in brand-new, unused condition, and in its original packaging. This includes both the inner Wellputt product box and the protective outer shipping box, accompanied by the original documentation or invoice. If the product is not returned in its original pristine condition or if our logistics partner does not validate its state upon inspection, reconditioning fees will be deducted from your final refund. Products excessively soiled or damaged by the customer will not be eligible for a refund.
7.3 Defective or Non-Compliant Products
If a product arrives defective or does not comply with specifications due to a manufacturing error, a replacement or refund will be issued. The customer must provide visual proof (clear photos or videos) demonstrating that the product arrived damaged or defective before shipping it back. The item must be securely packed in its original packaging and sent to our designated return center following instructions provided by customer support.
ARTICLE 8: PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY
All customer personal data is treated with the strictest confidentiality. Information requested during checkout is solely used for order fulfillment and customer service. Customers retain a total right of access, rectification, opposition, and deletion of their personal data, which can be exercised at any time by emailing contact@wellputt.com.
ARTICLE 9: LIMIT OF LIABILITY
Products are illustrated and described with the highest possible level of accuracy. However, photographs, texts, and graphics on the website are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a binding part of the sales contract. The company cannot be held liable for minor errors, discrepancies, or supplier-end modifications. The company cannot be held liable for breaches of contract due to stock shortages, force majeure events (such as floods, fires, strikes, or logistical accidents), or issues inherent to the use of the internet.
ARTICLE 10: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All visual, textual, branding, and audio elements displayed on the website, alongside its underlying technology, remain the exclusive intellectual property of the company or its legitimate partners. Any unauthorized reproduction, adaptation, or reuse, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited and constitutes a copyright infringement punishable by law.
ARTICLE 11: LIFETIME WARRANTY AND PRODUCT CARE
A Lifetime Warranty is provided on premium putting mats, guaranteeing that the product remains free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended residential use. To maintain the validity of this lifetime warranty, the customer must strictly adhere to the following Storage and Care Conditions:
The mat must always be kept indoors in a dry, clean, and climate-controlled room.
It must never be permanently exposed to outside elements or left in damp environments.
- Do not expose the mat to continuous, direct sunlight or UV rays, as this will degrade the fibers and fade the printed tracking lines.
- The mat handles minor accidental liquid spills if blotted dry immediately, but it must never be flooded or soaked.
- When putting away the mat, it must be cleaned, properly rolled with the printed side facing outward, and stored back inside its original box or protective sleeve.
- The mat should only be cleaned using a gentle brush or a low-suction vacuum cleaner. The use of steam cleaners, pressure washers, or harsh chemical detergents will immediately void this warranty. This warranty excludes natural wear and tear over time, commercial or intensive use, pet damage, and mold arising from humid storage. To file a warranty claim, the customer must provide proof of purchase, a detailed description, and visual evidence to our customer service department.
